Haha, oh man. Penny. [She laughed.]

God, you defended me. That's sweet. But I totally fried that girl in the old days. I'm trying, promise. But some folks around here remember the things I used to do, haha.

We cannot help what has happened in the past, but it never hurts to ask for forgiveness even if we never get it.

[She swipes over to the drawing pad and scribbles out a couple of green hearts. One of her books told her that sending little signs of affection can make your significant other feel better.]

I am always going to defend you, because you are very important to me. I would love nothing more than for the rest of the world to see you as I do.

[She laughed and rested her head against the wall, sighing a little.]

Penny, nobody's ever going to see me the way you do. But hey, I've got Mami and Jessie talking to me. Let's call that a victory. Don't worry too much about Chloe. Haha, I'm not going to win them all.

but... that was sweet. [She ran a finger over one of the little hearts and sighed again.] You really are way too good for me, you know that?

You have been here for me in my greatest moments of weakness in this town, it is only fair that I return the favor in any way I can.

And hey I'll just have to try not to pick up all kinds of new enemies for you to defend me against. [She sighed.] You're a one of a kind girl, Penny. There's nobody quite like you. I want you to remember that.

I may need to keep you at home until you learn to stop picking fights with people.

[Penny can't help but giggle at Larxene's playfulness.]

But when you say things like that, it makes me want to fly over to your house so I can kiss you.

You realize I won't complain about monopolizing your time a little bit, don't you? [She wasn't going to do this just to get attention. Promise.]

I'm home now, just so you know. Just saying.

Well, whenever you are feeling confrontational, you can just let me know and I will come over to help you get it out of your system!

[Which, again, sounds way more suggestive than how she really meant it.]

Like... tonight? Ruby is starting to feel better now, and I would very much enjoy spending the night with you again.

[Swallow. Penny... really didn't know all of the innuendos she just threw around like that. Just... wow.]

Mmm, I was in a pinch today, but [Breathe] I will try to remember I can ask you to help... uh... yeah, that.

And sure, you can absolutely spend the night with me tonight! [Wait, what was she suggestin... eh, it was fine. It was Penny, so all night cuddle sessions were a thing.]

We will have to plan a date night some time soon, even if we just hang out and make dinner at home.

[Mostly she just wants an excuse to dress up and get cuddly with her girlfriend.]

But I will be over shortly, okay?

I should totally come up with a surprise of some kind. This place isn't great for dates, but I'm sure I can come up with something!

[There really weren't great options, and the spa treatment wasn't the best choice for a robot girlfriend. Still, at least there was the movie theater!]

Anywhere you are is a good place for a date. I do not need much more than the two of us spending time together.

[Not long after, Penny arrives at the front door. She gives a couple warning knocks before letting herself in, having lived with her girlfriend all the previous week had made her feel much more comfortable coming and going without much formality.]

Larxene? I am here! [She calls out, heading into the living room.]

[Larxene wasn't someone who really set much store in ceremony as it was, so being casual about entering, especially if you were expected, was fine. Admittedly if not expected, she might thunderbolt, but not in Penny's case. Those rocket boots weren't exactly quiet.

She poked her head out of the kitchen and smiled.]

Hey you. I was getting a sandwich. Come on in. Did you want anything?

[She sometimes wondered if Penny ate. It hadn't come up before. Which, considering that she stayed for a whole week, was kind of a testimony to how casual Larxene could be about living.]

[She can eat, in that it's physically possible for her to, but it's not necessary. In fact, the energy conversion process is grossly inefficient compared to her normal charging process, it was mostly a feature built-in for her to better fit in with other people.

Not that she didn't enjoy tasty things from time-to-time, sweets in particular.]

Just you. [She giggles, hurrying to the blonde's side to offer her lips in greeting.] But I can wait until you're done eating.

Oh, and why is that pray tell?

[She was laughing as she slid back out of the kitchen and went over to the beaten up excuse for a lazy boy she sat on, patting her laugh. Thank god this thing was built tough enough to handle the weight of a robot included.]

You got plans for me tonight to keep me out of trouble?

Because I want to show my appreciation for what a sweet girlfriend you are being.

[The pat was all the excuse Penny needed to settle into the other girl's lap, planting a casual smooch on her lips. It had become so easy to be affectionate like this. Like it was natural to do so.]

I may have thought of a few distraction ideas. How about a movie in bed?

Oh man, Penny you're totally coming over here to keep me out of trouble. [She laughed brightly, shaking her head.] I think you're the one being sweet.

[She kissed her back lightly, the taste of grilled cheese here. Working on the sandwich, she heard the offer and her eyes lit up.]

We could do hat. Did you bring a movie with? I've got a couple.

I thought this would be beneficial for both of us. You stay out of trouble, I get to kiss my girlfriend some more.

[Her and her cheesy lips.]

I did not, but I am sure we can find something worth watching.

[Even if they're going to pay attention to about ten minutes of it.]
